Firstly i'm going to talk about the actual target audience for this text, as the text is on the Daily Mail website it's target is people who read the Daily Mail newspaper. These people tend to be between the ages of 19 - 50. I've noticed that the text is written in formal English, and the words used are simple. Therefore they're aiming this text at a wide group of people, because everyone will be able to understand the type of language used. They've added in pictures to the text, by doing this it widens the target audience, it creates more interest whilst reading the text. And it also attracts more people. They've added in a comments bar to make the audience feel included in this text.
